GS 12/13 Job Opening for Wounded EOD Warrior

 

The Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity in Indian Head Maryland has an opening for an Explosive Safety Inspector based in Norfolk, VA. The position is a GS 12/13 with a training and certification process, progressing from GS12 to 13.

Inspectors require a background in aviation, surface or submarine ordnance. Those with an EOD background will be considered a good fit for this position.  In addition, the government is particularly interested Wounded EOD Warriors EOD to fill his position.

The person filling the job will be required to inspect ships and shore installations throughout the world but mainly on the east coast, NAVEUR and NAVCENT. Mobility to get around ships will be required. Travel/TDY will be 50% or greater throughout the year.
