Agabhumi Announces the “Missing Peace Collection” Designed Exclusively for the EOD Warrior Foundation (EODWF)

Fashion brand and its ‘Retailing with a Conscience’ mantra to support EODWF with 25% of sales from the new collection going to support wounded EOD warriors and their families, and the families of fallen EOD warriors.

STAMFORD, CT (August 27, 2015) – Agabhumi (http://www.agabhumi.com), a leading internationally-acclaimed fashion brand and retailer, announced today that it has launched its newest customized collection called the “Missing Peace Collection”. The collection includes a carefully-crafted pendant and earrings featuring the peace symbol and the word “peace”.  Twenty-five percent of the sales from the collection will go to the EOD Warrior Foundation, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for wounded EOD warriors and their families, the families of fallen EOD warriors, and the EOD community by providing emergency financial relief, scholarship opportunities, and physical, social, and emotional support.

“We are thrilled about this jewelry collection, and I am so passionate in spreading the word about the extraordinary work the 7,000 strong EOD Warriors do and the breathtaking scope of what the EOD Warrior Foundation team does to support these brave men and women,” said Regina Kirshbaum, co-owner of Agabhumi. “Their selflessness is as boundless as our opportunities to be peaceful. In our 12 years of business, we have always strived to do what we call ‘Retailing with a Conscience’, and we are humbled by the opportunity to raise funds for such an important cause through our one-of-a-kind jewelry.”

The EOD Warrior Foundation serves the EOD community by providing financial assistance and support to active-duty and veteran wounded, injured or ill EOD warriors, families of wounded and fallen EOD warriors and by maintaining the EOD Memorial. Their support includes financial assistance and additional services such as morale events, peer-to-peer support, educational programs, connections to resources and sustained contact with EOD warriors and their families.

“We are excited to partner with a brand like Agabhumi on such a terrific initiative,” said Nicole Motsek, Executive Director of the EOD Warrior Foundation. “Agabhumi, and the owners Regina and Michael, share our same passion and to support those who sacrifice so much for our continued freedom, which makes this partnership a great fit. Our foundation believes that the EOD family is for life, and our ongoing commitment is to disarm the challenges of the EOD family by providing our support with compassion and caring to every individual we serve. The proceeds from this collection are important to us as we further our cause.”

The “Missing Peace Collection” is available at Agabhumi’s flagship store at 22 Magee Avenue in Stamford, CT, and will be featured online at http://www.agabhumi.com. Customers may also call (888) 242-2254 for more information.
